QUOTE
"Reba returns to one of her classic themes, female empowerment. She also returns to fiddle-and-dobro propelled country. And she takes no prisoners in doing either one. Fiery and fierce."

REBA'S TOP 3 SONG BEST TESTING FEMALE HIT
Right now Reba McEntire's "Somebody" is the best testing female song in the country. And it has radio consultants calling it her best record in a decade, "It's the most powerful Reba song in a decade," Jaye Albright, and Joel Raab saying "This is her biggest hit in the last 10 years. It is great to have Reba back on the radio."
NOBODY IS MORE THRILLED ABOUT THIS THAN REBA - she tells Country Weekly in the upcoming Aug. 3rd issue, "There’s something about being away from the politics and the routine and the grind of the music business that ended up being refreshing to me,” Reba tells Country Weekly. “By getting away from it all for a while, it all feels fresh and new again. The people in country music have been very good to me,” she raves. “Country music has put food on my family’s table for years. You just don’t forget something like that.”

Reba McEntire On Country Across America
Reba profiled on Country Across America show this week.
By Neil Haislop, Country Forever Productions
NASHVILLE, TN Monday 7.19.2004 /netmusiccountdown.com/ -- Reba McEntire is profiled on GAC's Country Across America this week. One of the revelations she makes is that it's taken 20 years to get back to her "true voice," that as a teller of inspirational and heartfelt stories.
Meanwhile Reba continues her tour that shows how real the feeling is when she sings her tunes. According to writer, Tom Roland, "McEntire displayed admirable confidence, impeccable timing and just the right touch of emotion...Her facial expressions and other physical gestures, handily picked up on the video screens, routinely enhanced the emotional content of the songs."
Catch Reba on "Country Music Across America," airing through 7/26 on the Great American Country network.

McEntire trying to get Parton for 'Reba'
Reba McEntire is actively trying to recruit Dolly Parton for her hit series "Reba."
"We're working on a script for Dolly," McEntire said. "It can be nothing less than perfect for Dolly. I would love it if it could happen this season."
Busy McEntire finds she still has 'Room to Breathe'
Reba has sold 40 million records, has a TV hit, and she's touring
The twang is unmistakable, the voice friendly and bell-like.
"Yep, this is Reba McEntire. How are you?"
The country music queen and sitcom star is calling from her Nashville home, kicking back before heading out on her summer tour. Already solidly established in the music industry with 25 years invested and more than 40 million records sold, the fiery redhead, who plays 1st Mariner Arena Saturday night, has officially made it in prime time.
Reba McEntire has been the queen for some time. Others have taken a run at the throne -- Trisha Yearwood and Wynonna Judd? Fell short. Martina McBride and Patty Loveless? Please. Faith Hill and Shania Twain? They're just not the same thing. Dixie Chicks? You can't divide the throne three ways.
What we've learned is that there's no one who can match the prodigiousness of her voice and still sell everything from a rip-snortin' hoe-down to the tenderest of ballads. Need proof? Give her new CD, Room to Breathe, a spin.
Welcome Reba back at Germain Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 21, with Julie Roberts and Billy Currington. Tickets are $67.50/$52.50/$27.50. Call 1-800-779-TIXX.

Queen of Country
Faithful fans crowd rodeo grounds for Reba concert
Bob Moad lost sleep over it. Shera Hartman was there to collect a signature. And John Nyberg summed it up this way: "She looks good."
Fans cheered wildly when country music legend Reba McEntire took the stage for a nearly sold-out crowd at the Redding Rodeo Grounds on Friday night. Nearly 5,800 of the 6,200 seats available had sold by 5:30 p.m. said Chuck Broadway, a spokesman for the Redding Rodeo Association. Fans shelled out from $52.50 to $75 for tickets. The concert benefited Habitat for Humanity.

NO REDHEADED STRANGER
Reba's success has made her a household name
Reba McEntire has sung so many hits over the past three decades, even she can't remember the words to them all.
So she types them onto her laptop computer and rehearses them in her head a few times before she takes the stage.
"I can remember a Merle Haggard song from start to finish better than I can a song I recorded on this (last) album," McEntire said Tuesday by phone from Nashville.
Reba is currently #7 on both Billboard and Radio & Records with her current smash SOMEBODY!

Reba McEntire gets down to earth at Reno show
Reba McEntire showed almost 8,500 people at the Reno Hilton Amphitheater Friday night why she has her own self-titled television show and a hugely successful 25-year music career. Oh, yeah…and two books, 30 music videos, a successful acting career in movies and theater. Need I go on?
A legal fight over parking has held up a proposed $100 million development being considered for a prime piece of real estate near the Music Row roundabout.
Music Square Properties, an affiliate of country singer Reba McEntire's Starstruck Entertainment, has a deal to sell the former Barbara Mandrell Theater at the Music Row roundabout and adjoining property along Demonbreun Street.
Despite the title of her latest album, Reba McEntire doesn't need much room to breathe. Truth be told, a glance at McEntire's list of current projects nearly takes your breath away.
Aside from selling more than 46 million records, country artist Reba McEntire isn’t all that different from you and me. Like many of us, she dreamed of being on a television sitcom.
Be the first to have a REBA ringtone on your phone. Ringtones are now available in the EXTRAS section of the site. Enjoy!

LIA SPOTLIGHT GUEST: REBA
Reba was just on Lia as the spotlight guest. If you missed it here is what they discussed:
- Touring: How it feels to be back on the road after a two year break. Reba says she is happy that her fans have stuck
with her thru years of touring, broadway, television and now they have returned with her to touring.
- Habitat for Humanity: Whirlpool is the tour sponsor this year and they asked her if she would help promote Habitat for
Humanity. Since she has already been a part of H4H she was happy to be a part of it again.
- Shelby: He's adjusted to LA and loves it there although they are back in Nashville for the summer.
- Lia joked that with all she does she is the 'multimedia queen' and asked her how she does it all. Reba said Narvel
handles everything and joked that he enjoys "bossing her around."
- Somebody: Reba's 53rd Top 10 hit and the successful video where Reba plays 'cupid'.
- Season 4 of REBA: Production begins August 11th. Reba says its going to be a very exciting first show coming back. She

again. It never has changed. It's always been the kind of songs that I fall in love with and that touch my
