Reba Taping!
Hello everyone! I thought I would give an update on Reba and the first taping of the 4th season! In Jackson, MI and Indianapolis, IN Reba thanked the audience for her upcoming season! I was fortunate enough to get to attend the season's first taping this past Tuesday. While I was worn out and travelled 10 hours tuesday to get there, it was all well worth it.
Once inside the studio, the audience was warmed up and got to watch the 3rd season's finale to catch some folks up on the show who might have missed the show. Once the cast came out, the taping began quickly. Reba scanned the audience before getting right to work, she smiled and waved on! The emcee, Mark Sweet, kept the audience entertained during takes as he always does. The taping went pretty smoothly with very few outtakes...LOL! By the end of the taping, you could tell Reba was tired, but who could blame her after the weekend she had. Those that had attended the concerts know what I am talking about!
Towards the end of the taping, I asked Mark Sweet if I could congratulate Reba on her 22nd #1 single and he let me. After congratulating her, Reba looked up and waved to me and said, "Thank You Mary!"!! After the taping was complete Reba came up to me to talk. When she walked up I asked her how she does it? Because I had just seen her in MI on 8-14, IN on 8-15 and here it was 8-17 and she is still going strong. She immediately asked me, how I had gotten there. I told her I flew and she told me that she couldn't believe that I had gone all that way just to see her. Then she asked me how many times Wonda and I had seen her in concert this summer. When I told her 12 she said, "I thought you had been to just about all of them!" We talked a little more, she autographed a few things for me and I handed her a little gift. She asked me when I was heading home and told me to be safe. Reba went on to others to sign and greet them. I then realized that I had forgot to call Wonda and see if Reba would talk to her since she couldn't make it to the taping with me... :( By the time I got ahold of Wonda, Reba was on the other side from where I was, but I made my way over there and caught up to her and asked if she could do me one more favor and she said, "Well, Sure!!" I told her Wonda was on the phone and asked her to say hi to her and as you all know, she did!
The whole night was too cool! For any fans thinking about heading to LA to see a taping, I highly recommend it. It is awesome getting to see Reba in a different atmosphere! Reba looked a little tired by the end, but as I said before, who wouldn't be?! Other than a little sleepy, Reba looked wonderful. And to close I just have to words to say, "GO REBA!!"
P.S. For those of you wondering, I did not get pictures. I left my camera at home on accident and took a throw away, but when I got my pics back there were none of Reba... :(
