Reba McEntire to give free concert at the Point
With her new hit "Somebody" peaking at No. 1 on the country music charts, Reba McEntire will headline the 10th Annual Dollar Bank Jamboree at Point State Park on Aug. 29.
In addition to logging 51 Top 10 hits, the multitalented McEntire stars in the hit TV series "Reba" and headlined a Broadway production of "Annie Get Your Gun."
The free all-day Dollar Bank Jamboree begins with a fishing tournament at 8 a.m., includes children's activities from 3 to 7 p.m. and spotlights Arista recording artist Carolyn Dawn Johnson, 10-year-old Beaver Falls singer Vanessa Campagna, Pittsburgh hit songwriters Corbin/Hanner and Fayette County's PovertyNeck Hillbillies. Performances start at 3:45 p.m. and conclude with McEntire taking the stage at 8:20 p.m.
